Bookish

This was the first Colleen Hoover book I've ever read and I had heard that her books are amazing so I wanted to give it a go. This book was not at all what I was expecting; it was so emotional and heart breaking. The book follows a young girl named Sky who lives with her adopted mother and has been home-schooled her whole life until she convinces her mom to let her attend a public high school for her senior year of high school. Sky then meets a boy named Holder, who has a mysterious past and seems to take a serious interest in Sky. There isn't a whole lot more I can say about the plot because most of the things that make up this book would be spoilers. The whole book is really a mystery and filled with twists. The first half of the book appeared to be light and funny and romantic, but the second half of the book really blew me away. Colleen Hoover addressed some serious issues in this book and in my opinion, she did a fantastic job at it. I really loved this book and I loved the ending.
