On the Island Review

On the Island - Tracey Garvis-Graves

On the Island is a novel about a teacher named Anna who takes a summer job on a vacation island with a family tutoring their sixteen year old son, T.J., who is in remission from cancer and needs to catch up on school work. On their way to the meet T.J.'s family, T.J. and Anna's plane crashes and they are washed ashore a remote, deserted island. The book takes place over the course of years and the longer Anna and T.J. are on the island, the bond between them grows into love.

I absolutely loved this book! The story was beautiful and I could not have asked for a more perfect ending. The two main characters were really well developed, especially the character of T.J. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of love stories. It was beautiful and unique and just perfect.
